AdjuCor is developing SPREDS based on individual anatomic imaging data and high performance simulations, respecting each individual anatomy and site of infarction. SPREDS is a foldable pneumatic system providing sustained pressure to CardioPatch during each cardiac cycle. SPREDS is synchronized with the Patient’s ECG, thereby respecting each systoly and diastoly of the electro-mechanical cycle. SPREDS is positioned in the pericardial space and will be implanted and explanted trough a catheter port. Facilities: Fully equipped laboratory space for advanced cardiac function and device testing using Pressure-Volume loops analysis. In models, isolated hearts and in-vivo testing. Collaboration with a fully equipped laboratory of the Mechanics & High Performance Computing Group for image segmentation and device simulations.
