Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland (RCSI)

RCSI Drug Delivery PIs, detailed below, will synthesise PLGA nanoparticles for the delivery of IGF. They will manufacture PLGA nanoparticles using scalable processes and investigate drug release and stability of the nanomedicines. In conjunction with RTD activities RCSI will be involved in organising patient and citizen panels to discuss aspects of innovative CVD treatments with lay people and to develop communication strategies to provide clinicians, interested companies, the media and a broader public with balanced information. RSCI will also be involved in scientific, commercial oriented and general public oriented dissemination activities.
